the tpooarm is awesome because it’s walkable from mission beach, and because of their website. they have all the kegs listed, how much is left in each keg, and what’s coming up after the keg blows. i wish every place did that!

They’re not exactly a cuddly bunch, but I wouldn’t say they’re significantly worse than any typical dive bar. Toronado’s always busy, and I think a lot of people confuse “efficient” for “mean.”

Rules for any bar apply here: Know what you want, have your cash out, make eye contact, and don’t skimp on the tip, and you’ll be fine.

Last time I went, I asked when the online bottle list was last updated; he answered “Christmas.” (It was August.)

So I recommend just asking for the bottle list in person.

Any advice on the best way to actually figure out what bottled beers they have at any given time?
